The following programs were organized with the help of shortlisted volunteers in various sectors from Vidyanjali Portal in PM Shree Kendriya Vidyalaya Pushp Vihar I during the current academic session i.e. 2023-24:

In a world full of addictions, the teenagers of classes IX-XII were given an opportunity to participate in Nasha Mukti Workshop organized by Brahma Kumaris on 28-08-2024 and 29-08-2024. The students displayed great enthusiasm and raised a lot of queries. The Braham Kumaris came up with many real-life stories about drug addicts and how they transformed their lives to make them a better human being. The workshop left a deep imprint on the young minds.

As it is said, books are our best friends. Therefore, our Vidyalaya invited some volunteers who wanted to donate books to the students. The books included novels, biographies, science fictions and even subject related books which were particularly given away to bright students who came from humble backgrounds.

A workshop on self-defense was organized by Mr Kuldeep along with his team. The workshop aimed to equip girl students of class VI-VIII with self-defense techniques. The girls took a keen interest learning all the techniques of defending themselves when faced with a challenging situation in day-to-day life. The workshop boosted self-confidence of the girls.

Ms Taniya Jain conducted an awareness class regarding adult education for classes IX-XII. The class aimed at creating awareness among the students regarding various hormonal and physical changes the body undergoes on attaining adulthood. The class proved to be very interesting and effective as the students displayed a lot of curiosity.
